Excerpt from “EAT”
A woman has lost the will to continue eating and her boyfriend is sick of it.
This is an excerpt from my short film. “EAT” was my final project for my Digital Media and Video Production major. This was written and directed by me, shot by me with help from Mackenzie England, video editing was done by Chloe Bowman, sound editing was done by me, and color correcting was done by Tessie Tokash.
Documentary Edit
Our class was tasked with taking footage our professor filmed of her friend for fun and make it into a 2-4 minute documentary. This is how I chose to edit the footage and sound.
Overnight Book Trailer
Our professor created a short film during her undergrad called “Overnight Book.” We were required to watch the short and make a trailer either following the narrative of her short, or use elements of the film to create our own narratives. I was fascinated by the male character, Bobby, and chose to make him the star of my trailer.
ABT’s Final Collaboration with PS 1
While interning at the American Ballet Theatre, my final project was to make a goodbye video for PS 1, the school some ABT faculty were in residency that semester. The students recorded themselves talking about places they feel inspired, to accompany their “Inspired Places” assignment. The videos were collected during the students’ final performance via Zoom.
